As Brenner says, "Mommy, I'm one three, and you're two threes! Cool!" Yes, yes...cool. And I had a great birthday with my family. Thanks to everyone I love! And praise the Lord for another blessed year of life!
Oh! And my favorite birthday memory:
We are all gathered in the kitchen for dinner. Aunt Mary Jane says, "Okay, who wants to say grace?"
Brenner chimes in, "I will! I will!"
We all fold our hands, bow our heads, close our eyes...
And Brenner starts singing:
"Amazing grace! How sweet the sound! That saved a wretch like me! I once was blond, but now I'm brown..."
He sang the whole first verse of the song, then ended with, "Amen!" The words may not have been all correct, but he did "say grace" right?! :)
