Aile's Family

I homeschool Aile and her friend Anaya.  The other day I asked them both to draw me a picture of their families.  I wish I had taken a picture (they were drawn on dry-erase boards) to post because then you really could have seen what Aile drew.  But there we all were--heads, short square bodies, and really long legs.  The boys had spiky hair and mine looked like a bush on top of my head.  ("It's your curls, Mommy.")  I told Aile it looked really good, I liked how she made Daddy the biggest, then Mommy a little smaller, then her, Brenner and Caelum all appropriately smaller for their ages.  

She looked at me with a grimace.  "Well, I made you skinny, Mommy," she said. "I'm sorry."
